Decimal accuracy issue when prjecting data

Hye,

I’m trying to project some earthquakes but the output file (projected data) lacks of decimals for accuracy. The input longitude and latitude have 4-5 decimals of accuracy, but the projected data has only 2 decimals of accuracy, and this is a problem because when I try to plot the projected data, some wrong not real alignments of earthquakes in my cross section. How can I specify decimal accuracy using pygmt.project?

I found the error. I’ve set FORMAT_FLOAT_OUT equal to ‘%.2f’ for a map, and it sems this config remained so, causing truncated decimals in projections.

Best to use –FORMAT_FLOAT_OUT=%.2f for particular commands related to formatting so you don’t end up with in your gmt.conf as you did.
