The GMT team is pleased to announce the 6.3.0 release via [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/GenericMappingTools/gmt/releases). Apart from numerous bug fixes, there is a new module ( **grdselect** ), some new options and new modifiers to existing modules, and the ability to let GMT determine the needed resolution when using remote data sets. For a complete listing of changes, see the [changelog](https://docs.generic-mapping-tools.org/6.3/changes.html).
We hope you will be pleased with the latest release. If you find any bugs please report issues on [GitHub](https://github.com/GenericMappingTools/gmt/issues) or if you are not sure you can post general questions on our [Q & A Forum](https://flint.soest.hawaii.edu)
