Indeed, that was causing the problem. I haven’t thought about it at all. Actually this figure is an inset in a bigger map and because I have reserved 10 digits, in the batch file for the printing of map boundary annotation, the 9 digitis before the dot are pushing it towards the right. Thanks to all that contributed towards the solution. The problem is solved now.
