Using psconvert to combine multiple pdfs

I am trying to figure out how to use pygmt.Figure.psconvert function to combine multiple pdfs or ps file into one. In GMT it is pretty straight forward with using the -TF flag.

On the pygmt docs it mentions:

Using F creates a multi-page PDF file from the list of input PS or PDF files. It requires the prefix parameter.

The prefix parameter is just the file name, but I have no clue where to provide this ‘list of input’.

From the source code (relevant line below) it seems like this option actually does not work, but I am not sure, and would appreciate any info!

# All supported formats
fmts = dict(png="g", pdf="f", jpg="j", bmp="b", eps="e", tif="t", kml="g")
