Using the -T option in pssegy

Does anyone have experience using the -T option in pssegy? It looks like a way to decimate traces on input, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to use it. The question seems to be around what is meant by “location” in an input file.

Thanks in advance.

Never used it myself, but looking at the source code it expects a list (one item per line) of trace numbers - they are read in as double precision values and the code them searches for traces whose “location” matches the listed ones. I assume location is either time or distance along the horizontal, but I am unfamiliar with SEGY stuff.

IF you figure it out let us know so we can update the documentation on this topic.
