John_Geodesy
A senior member of the GMT community. I’ve been using and abusing GMT since around 1990 (I have CD ROMs of early distributions). Most of the graphics I’ve created across my career came through GMT.
I’m now retired, but I used to work with NASA’s ICESat-2 Project Science Office (at Goddard Space Flight Center) in a variety of roles. In the past, I’ve worked on NASA missions that include: the Crustal Dynamics Project, analysis of Lageos SLR data, Seasat data, gravity field work in preparation for the TOPEX/Poseidon mission, gravity field work for Mars in preparation for Mars Observer), a variety of geodetic- and cryospheric-related investigations for ICESat and, now, for ICESat-2.
I created detailed atlases of the Moon with GMT. E-book PDFs can be found at oculum-verlag.de/ebook/
