Fig.plot not plotting lines with no_clip option?

I was trying to make a map and decided to put the legend outside of the map borders. I also decided to make a manual legend because I didn’t like how the fig.legend portrays the vectors and trenches that I did.

I manage to use no_clip successfully for focal mechanisms and circles. However, when I finally used it for plotting lines, nothing appears. I already used it successfully before when plotting them inside the map, so I don’t know why it doesn’t work with no_clip.

I believe this is expected. See -N should be effective to line · Issue #5766 · GenericMappingTools/gmt · GitHub.

There are definitely some workarounds. So please post your script so that others can help.

Oh, this makes sense. Hmm.

I’m afraid it would be difficult to do so because I have included references to Shapefiles and georeferenced images into my code. Removing them one by one might be tricky.

Anyway, thanks for the reply. I might just make my map much bigger to give space for legend.
