GRDINFO multiple min/max v-values

I’m using 6.4 in modern mode. GRDINFO ingrid -M reports the single min/max v-values of the grid. Is there a way of finding ‘n’ most extreme values? Specifically, I’m using a grid extracted from @earth_relief to examine elevation data and I want to find the ten highest elevation points.

Hi Wally.

I think you could convert your grid to a table with grd2xyz and then sort/filter your output based on the elevation.
