Labeling P and T axes in psmeca

Dear GMT community,

I’m plotting some moment tensor solutions using psmeca. All features that I want to show in the beachball work fine. Pressure and Tension axes can be plotted as symbols using the -Fa option. But, is there a way to plot labels “P” and “T” at the axes locations instead of symbols?

The documentation shows the following sentence for the -Fr option: “Draw a box behind the label (if any)”. How can I add such label, and plot it instead of a symbol? I’m using GMT 5.4.5.

Thanks in advance!

No way to do that. Perhaps you can just plot symbols and then add a legend to explain that the symbols represent “P” or “T” axes?

The “label” is “event label” of beachballs, not related to “P” and “T” axes.

Thanks! It’s good to know that. I just wanted to corroborate it.
