Dear community.
The docu mentions ~/.gmt as suggested path for PSL_custom_fonts.txt.

However, since multiple users are running the scripts, I would prefer a user independent location. The docu does not give a list of possible locations. Can you tell me where gmt looks for the PSL_custom_fonts.txt file or where I find this information?

Hi Oliver,
You can set a different GMT user folder (instead of ~/.gmt) with the GMT_USERDIR environment variable: https://docs.generic-mapping-tools.org/dev/cookbook/features.html#directory-parameters But I don’t think you can have this set exclusively for the fonts file.

I think your suggestion is even better, than only adjusting the font description location. Your way removes all user dependencies.
