Peirce Quincuncial projection (or -J options i general) in pyGMT

Hi, I’m trying to create a map as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, I can’t get the -J PROJ projections to work, especially the Peirce Quincuncial projection which I want to use always produces an error coast [ERROR]: Bad case in gmt_map_clip_path (-1).
Has anyone got it running and can provide me a minimal example from which I can go on?

I’d also be happy with the GMT commandline tool working. Whatever is possible, I take it.

Thank you very much in advance!

Bests,
C

That projection is not implemented in GMT so if you are trying this via proj4 then it will not work I think.

It may work if you do not set any -B option.
