Spilhaus projection!

Hi Geek Masters,
I’m wondering if anyone knows how to reproduce the Quasi-Spilhaus square projection on GMT?
Any help would be appreciated.

Not implemented in gmt, and can’t find it in proj either.

Unfortunately, the Spilhaus issue in PROJ is stalled for a long. We were waiting for it.

@ghomsi123 you can try it: Spillhaus Projection Experiment (PyGMT + COLAB).

It still needs some improvements, but “this is the way.”
