HI everyone. I am using gmt 6.5.0 in linux, and i am having trouble finding suitable colors for my map. I have attached a scheenshot, and it just looks off. Anyone can help me please? I dont want white on the tibetan grounds

You could try changing the CPT or adjusting the elevation range used for the map. For a more precise suggestion, it would be helpful to see the GMT script you are using.
Well, you can explore the color palettes available (including here : Cpt-city, now in Rails )
