My name is Dinar Haryadi, a final-year Geomatics Engineering student from ITS (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember), Indonesia. I am currently working on GNSS data processing using GAMIT/GLOBK for deformation analysis.
I encountered an issue when processing data from 2005–2009, where several stations show No Prefit and No Postfit coordinate solutions (e.g., BITI, BSIM, BTHL, PBLI, PSMK, PTLO, UMLH). The processing completes without crashing, but no coordinate solutions are generated for those sites.
Interestingly, when I process data from 2010–2024, everything runs normally and produces valid solutions.
I would like to ask:
What are the common causes of “No Prefit” and “No Postfit” in GAMIT, especially for older data?
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m afraid it will be difficult that someone here can help you (and not to mention that your question is extremely vague, no example command no nothing). The program’s author is no longer with us and this is a very niche module. My advice is that you ask a LLM (Claude.ai is top) what it has to say about it.
